Our Family has been in business since the 1980’s. We started out as a diner restaurant. In 2004 we turned our business into a venue with live music and events. After a successful run with the venue, we decided to get back to our roots and share our homemade Greek recipes with our customers. Real authentic Greek Food for our local fishtown neighborhood. The owner/chef has been in this business for over 40 years. Kostas bears the name of the owner/chef. He has worked in Greece and Australia in fine dining as the head chef. His dream was to come to America and share his gift with others.
Meet the Business Owner
Kosta was born in Lesbos, Greeece. He went to Athens Greece as a young man trying to make something of his life. He was trained by one of the top chefs in Greece and by the age of 28 Kosta was the head chef a restaurant called King George. Word spread quickly about Kostas talents as a chef. He was offered a position in Sydney, Australia for a fine dining restaurant called La Botiniere which served Greek & French cuisine. He was in Australia for 10 years before coming to the United States, which was his dream. Here in the US he became partners in a restaurant called Mediterrean Restaurant. Since then he has had several different partners in area pizzerias and restaurants, but always dreamed of opening a restaurant catering in homemade Greek recipes.
